The file immediately below is known as a General Arrangement or GA – it is useful as it shows several views and the overall size of the plane.

This guide gives you a step by step guide on how to construct your Cadet. Along with the instruction videos, you should have everything you need.

PLANS

You can download the plans here, you can choose from three different paper size formats to suit your preference:-

ISO A1 >

This large paper size has to be printed out on very large printers. if you contact your local copy shop, they can help you.

ISO A4 >

The most common paper size in Europe. If you print out these pages on your desktop printer, some parts will need to be cut out and taped together before you cut your foam sheet. Please note these files are ‘Zipped’ together, you will need an app called ‘unzip’ to open them.

US Letter >

The most common paper size in America. If you print out these pages on your desktop printer, some parts will need to be cut out and taped together before you cut your foam sheet. Please note these files are ‘Zipped’ together, you will need an app called ‘unzip’ to open them.

WIRE PARTS

If you want landing gear you will need one of these pages!

3D PRINTING PACK

If you have access to a 3d printer then these might be useful to you. Print them in PLA as light as you dare! Watch out! PLA melts in intense sunshine! lighter colours are better. Please note this file pack is ‘zipped’.

> Nosecone & Canopy : 0.4 wall, 5% infill.
> Wheels : 0.8mm wall, 5% infill.
> Braces : 0.8mm wall, 5% infill
> Motor mount : 0.8mm wall, 10% infill.
